GBHS Nkongsamba holds its General Meeting of Staff for the third term 2024-2025
Nkongsamba, 23 April 2025 – True to its tradition of participative management and ongoing dialogue between the various bodies in the educational community, the Lycée Bilingue de Nkongsamba held its General Meeting of Staff on Wednesday 23 April 2025, marking the official launch of administrative and teaching activities for the third term of the 2024-2025 school year.
Chaired by the Principal, Mrs Ellobe Leocadie, in the presence of the censors, general supervisors, educational coordinators, heads of the school’s various departments and all the teaching and support staff, this strategic meeting took place in the lycée’s staff room in a studious and responsible atmosphere.
The agenda included a number of items, including but not limited to the following:
Review of the second term and recommendations from previous meetings;
- Arrangements for supervising pupils in examination classes;
- Management of absences and lateness;
- Preparation for the third term assessments;
- A reminder about discipline, punctuality and dress code;
- and planning end-of-year activities.
Dans son discours d’ouverture, le chef d’établissement a salué le professionnalisme du personnel tout au long of the first two terms, while calling for a surge of commitment to meet the challenges of the final bend in the school year.
« This third term is one of truth. We need to redouble our efforts, ensure rigorous monitoring of learners and maintain a working atmosphere conducive to success for all », he asserted.
Constructive discussions followed, during which staff expressed their concerns, suggestions and proposals for improvement. A number of resolutions were unanimously adopted, aimed at reinforcing discipline, rigour in assessments and collective involvement in the success of official examinations.
The meeting ended on a note of hope and commitment, with each participant leaving with a clear objective: to make this final term an exemplary academic and organisational success.
