Formal Distribution of Second Term Report Cards at GBHS Nkongsamba.

Nkongsamba, April 4, 2025 — The second term of the 2024–2025 academic year officially ended on Friday, April 4, 2025, at GBHS Nkongsamba with the traditional report card distribution ceremony. Students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff all took part in this important event, which marks the mid-year academic assessment.

The distribution took place in a calm and solemn atmosphere within the various classrooms, under the supervision of pedagogical heads and administrative staff. Report cards were handed individually to the students, accompanied by personalized feedback and advice tailored to each student’s performance level.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the Principal, Mrs. ELLOBE LEOCADIE, emphasized the significance of this step:

“The distribution of report cards is not merely an administrative exercise—it is a moment of evaluation, reflection, and projection. We congratulate the deserving students and encourage those who need to make more effort.”

The results from this term generally show significant progress, although some classes still reflect average scores below expectations. Support measures have been put in place to help struggling students better approach the third term, including remedial sessions, peer tutoring, and improved time management strategies.

Parents were also invited to the ceremony and had the opportunity to speak with teachers about their children’s academic performance, thus strengthening the school-family relationship, which is essential to effective student supervision.

This ceremony marks the end of an intense term and the beginning of a crucial new phase, particularly for exam classes that are now entering the final stretch toward the official exams.
